This Honours degree gives you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Architectural Design methods, knowledge and history by undertaking a significant research project.

During the year you will also undertake research-methods courses to assist you to prepare a thesis, and will be supervised by an academic and often an architect of practice.

Following the Honours year, you may apply to enter the Master of Architecture or apply to undertake a research degree such as the Master of Philosophy, Master’s by Research or a PhD.

Entry requirements

Students must hold a Bachelor degree in Architectural Studies with the equivalent of a UNSW Credit average (minimum of 65 Weighted Average Mark).
